Even The Longest Journey must eventually come to an end. April finds herself in the Guardian’s realm and must face the final three trials before entering the Tower. Once there, well, after you have saved two worlds, what do you do next? It’s the final session of The Longest Journey!
April arrives at the space station and immediately starts by exploring the bathrooms. She then distracts a guard, frees the last Guardian and spends some time exploring a storage room before leaving for the gateway to the realm of the Balance. It’s the penultimate step on The Longest Journey!
April explores the nicer part of Newport and discovers that a pizza box will get you in anywhere. She then has a confrontation with Jacob McAllen and reunites with Cortez. Briefly. She then gets the last information she needs from Burns Flipper and signs up to be an interstellar colonist. Because surely that will end well. We’re leaving Earth on The Longest Journey.
April returns to Marcuria in Arcadia to recover the last two pieces of the disc and to “learn courage” from those who stayed behind to face the Tyren invasion. She then reforges the disc, meets the White Draic Kin and learns the truth about her heritage and returns to to Stark to get help deciphering the Star Map. Then she goes shopping. Another stop on The Longest Journey.
Having reunified the Mareum and the Alaitian, April meets with the Blue Driac Kin, who gives her the jewel then promptly hands her off to the Dark People. She then returns to a strangely empty Marcuria and then back to Stark. Then the shooting starts. Another stop on The Longest Journey.
